It has come to our attention that fraudulent telephone solicitors have identified themselves as The Element or have spoofed their phone numbers to appear as if they have an association with us. If you are receiving a sales call from anyone identifying themselves as Element Protection Plans, this call is fraudulent. This impersonation is typically an attempt to steal money and personal and financial information.
Tips to Avoid Being a Victim:
- When a caller claims to represent a specific company, ask for their name or employee number and call the company back using a number provided by an independent and trusted source. Do not call the number provided by the caller.
- Avoid providing personal or financial information over the phone, especially if you did not initiate the call.

Remember, these impersonators do not abide by regulations to call during restricted hours, and they are not dissuaded by the fact that a person’s number is on the “do not call” list.
